Operating capacity reduced as issues strike Styrolution's Antwerp ABS plant

A problem at Styrolution's Antwerp acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (AB) unit has reduced operating capacity, as per company sources in Platts. The complex has around 260,000 m tpa capacity and approximately 10% of capacity had been compromised by the problem which began last week. A bigger line out of several lines at the site experienced a "quality issue", the source said, adding that the company aimed to solve this by the end of this week.
