Petron plans to borrow US$200 mln in long-term loans to fund its petrochemical projects. Approval was granted last year by the Board of Investments towards the grant of tax breaks to Petron's more than 9 billion pesos worth of petrochemical projects that will make the company a new export producer of benzene, toluene and mixed xylene and a new domestic producer of propylene.
