Petron Corporation, the Philippine based petrochem producer has restarted the Petro Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (PetroFCC) and Propylene Recovery Unit (PRU) at its Limay petrochemical plant. The plant has been shut since December 2008 for a scheduled maintenance turnaround of the refinery. The Petro Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (PetroFCC) has a capacity of 19,000 bpd and Propylene Recovery Unit (PRU) has acapacity of process 140,000 MT of propylene annually”.
