Private equity fund managed by Kuwait-based firm sells stake in Reliance Petroleum

One of the top ten investors in Reliance Petroleum has hived off its stake in the company. Private equity fund managed by Kuwait-based firm Global Capital Management- namely Global Opportunistic Fund II, has sold its stake in Reliance Petroleum. Along with Chevron, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Fidelity, the fund was one of the top ten investors in the company. GOF II invests in pre-IPO and IPO opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as India, China, Pakistan and Turkey.
