Production of propylene at the Ethylene-polyethylene plant of Azerikimya Production Union after the first stage of modernization will grow up to 150,000 tons in October 2017 from the current 60,000 tons, Head of Azerikimya Mukhtar Babayev has been reported to have said by en.trend.az. Additionally, at the next stage, the productivity will be brought up to 185-190,000 tons.
The modernization process of the Ethylene-polyethylene plant has three stages. The first stage will be completed in October 2017, the second stage in July-August of 2018 and the final stage of modernization will be completed in summer of 2019, when automatic machinery, furnaces and others will be fully installed, explained Babayev.
