Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) plans to expand its petrochemical joint venture with Sinopec Corp. with a new integrated ethylene complex. The agreement between the two partners is expected to be signed in the Saudi capital during Chinese Vice President's first state visit to the Kingdom. The planned plant, to be located in northern China will have capacity to produce 1 mln tpa ethylene and all downstream products.
