Sibur Neftekhim has awarded to Technip, a lump-sum engineering and procurement contract for expansion of its ethylene plant in Kstovo, Russia. Value of th econtrat awarded by Sibur Neftekhim, a subsidiary of Sibur, is approximately €45 mln. In the first phase expansion, capacity will increase to 360,000 tpa, and by an additional 90,000 tpa in the second phase. The plant will be based on Technip´s proprietary technology. The contract covers detailed engineering, procurement and supply of main equipment and materials.
