Sinopec and UK-based Ineos Group Ltd. have inked an MOU for a joint venture for a phenol and acetone plant in Nanjing, with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of phenol, 250,00 0 tons of acetone, 550,000 tpa of cumene. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
