Six giant petrochemical projects valued at US$6 billion are slated to come on stream by spring of 2006.
Ethane production unit of Pars Petrochemical Project has commenced its pilot operation, and the extracted propane and butane are fed back to Pars Oil and Gas to be processed in full cycle.
Aromatic project with annual production of 5 million tons, Methanol-4 with an annual production of 650,000, tons and Urea and Ammonia projects with an annual production of one million tons are near completion.
