South Korean petrochemical makers to invest US$5.2 bln on upgrade and expansion

South Korea's petrochemical producers plan an investment of US$5.2 bln on the upgrade and expansion of their plants. This is expected to result in record exports of US$39.9 bln in 2011. The industry's capital expenditure in 2011 was 5.7 trillion won, resulting in exports of US$35.7 bln.
