Suppliers have suspended LDPE and LLDPE offers for January on limited availabilities, making the Asian markets almost dormant.
Suppliers from the Middle East and South Korea continue with CFR China LDPE offers at US$925-935/MT for January shipment, while buying interest remains pegged about 25 dollars lower. Sellers are not in a mood to relent as supplies remain restricted, even as some deals for cargoes from the Middle east region were heard concluded below the 900 dollar mark.
January LLDPE offers that continue to hover around US$900/MT CFR China, have met with resistance from buyers who are unwilling to procure materials at such a high level.
