A falling dollar has offset reports of higher crude inventories in USA. World oil prices extended gains in Asian trade- light sweet crude for November delivery was traded at US$83.4, while Brent crude for November delivery settled US$ 85.3 in London. Crude is expected to rise on expectations on expectations that the slow pace of the US economic recovery will stimulate a monetary boost that would boost energy consumption.
