The construction of the first phase of Tangliao’s 200,000 tons MEG project has entered a crucial phase, with production estimated to start up in August or September this year. When the first phase with 2,00,000 tons come onstream, Gem Chemical will be counted among China's top five MEG suppliers and start up of the 1.2 mln tpa MEG unit, it will become the biggest supplier.
