Husky Injection Molding Systems announced the expansion of its PRONTO line of fully configurable hot runners. The new PRONTO line will be displayed at the Husky booth (S36009) at NPE 2009 (Chicago, June 22 - 26) and will provide customers with significantly more design flexibility and a larger number of configuration options. The Husky PRONTO program is said to offer customized hot runners and simple integration for the cost of a standard hot runner. The system can be tailored for each customer's specific application, providing rapid delivery of fully configurable complete hot halves or manifold systems.
PRONTO's expansion highlights include:
-- Over 100 manifold layouts, more than doubling the scope of the existing PRONTO program to accommodate a much wider range of applications
-- Significantly increased flexibility of plate sizes and pitch spacing
-- Expanded nozzle options, including Ultra 350, 500 and 750 nozzles with hot tip and valve gate options available for all three nozzles
