Basell has completed expansion of its polypropylene plant in Geelong, Australia increasing capacity from 60,000 tpa to 130,000 tpa. Investment in this project represents one of the largest investments made in the Australian polymer industry. Basell and its predecessor companies have been manufacturing polypropylene in Australia for over three decades. Basell is the world's largest producer of polypropylene and advanced polyolefin products, a leading supplier of polyethylene and catalysts, and a global leader in the development and licensing of polypropylene and polyethylene processes.
