Chemtura Corporation and Hakuto Co. Ltd. have agreed to work jointly in the areas of polymerization inhibitors for Styrene Monomer refining processes. The two will jointly develop the market for Hakutol PC Series developed by Hakuto, have demonstrated superior performance with dinitro-type polymerization inhibitors such as DNBP. Hakuto agreed to license the patented technologies to Chemtura on a global basis, except in Japan, where both companies will cooperate to provide advanced inhibitor technologies.
