Borealis increases price of PP based products for automotive and appliance applications in Europe

Borealis has announced an increase the price of its polypropylene based products used in automotive and appliances applications in Europe, by €60/ton as of July 1, 2007. "We are continuously investing to deliver added value solutions to our customers in the automotive and appliances markets. We need to increase the prices of our products in order to achieve returns that can support this investment," according to Paul Turner, Borealis Vice President Business Unit Automotive and Appliances.
