Borealis AS is to increase the price of its polypropylene used in automotive and appliances applications in Europe by €150 per tonne as of April 1, 2006, in a bid to keep Borealis' automotive and appliances businesses profitable. Borealis' polypropylene solutions are supplied inter alia for interior, exterior and under-the-bonnet automotive applications.
