A reflection of the continued growth of Borouge's presence in the Asia Pacific region, the leading provider of innovative plastics solutions in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific - Borouge, has opened full sales and service offices in Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand. The timing is considered apt and comes at a time when the UAE is set to enter a free trade agreement with Australia that will incorporate all Gulf Cooperation Council countries and bring about a tremendous acceleration in the volume of trade between the countries. Borouge's production facility and its parent company, ADNOC are both based in UAE.
The new office forms part of Borouge's strategic expansion in the region and will help service Borouge 2, the world-scale project that is set to triple Borouge's existing production capacity to two million tpa by 2010. The offices will further strengthen growing sales and service network.
