Following a maintenance turnaround, the Gelsenkirchen (Germany) sited ethylene unit of BP Plc has been reopened. The Gelsenkirchen unit can produce 1.05 mln tpa of ethylene and is integrated with an adjacent 266,000 bpd refinery.
