Crude-oil prices fell by more than one dollar a barrel, on expectations of a build in U.S. supplies Light sweet crude for April delivery fell US$1.73 to settle at US$61.01 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
On the supply side, disruptions continue in Nigeria and concerns mount about Iran's nuclear ambitions. Nigeria, Africa's leading oil exporter and the United States' fifth-largest supplier, exporting 2.5 million bpd, has recently had attacks on oil facilities by a militant group that has cut production there by nearly 20%.
