Dupont declared force majeure on Aug. 31 at two Mississippi plants and on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 for its Sabine, Texas, ethylene copolymers plant and its Beaumont, Texas, aniline and acrylonitrile businesses.
Dupont's two Mississippi plants damaged by Hurricane Katrina are expected to restart in November and December.
DuPont will restart its Pascagoula, Miss., aniline facility by the end of November, with its DeLisle, Miss., titanium dioxide plant scheduled to begin operations by the end of December. The Texas facilities are undergoing a phased restart.
