Innovene's Chocolate Bayou manufacturing site in Texas has successfully completed the expansion and turnaround of its Olefins #1 unit. The changes were implemented to meet stricter Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) environmental operating laws. The plant has added 300 million metric kgs of ethylene capacity, making it one of the largest olefins capacity expansions in North America this year.
The project successfully produced prime product within just 26 hours of feedstock being introduced.
