ExxonMobil Chemical have seen successful completion of its 130,000 tpa capacity expansion at its Jurong Island-based Exxsol hydrocarbon fluids plant in Singapore. This capacity increase ups the total capacity to 500,000 tpa. Asia Pacific region's hydrocarbon fluid products expected to rise by 6% per annum will largely be the beneficiaries of ExxonMobil Chemical's expansion in Singapore. A sturdy industrial growth along with rising awareness of health, safety and environmental issues and the future consolidation of different regulatory requirements will enhance the demand further.
The capacity expansion will enable customers with access to higher volumes of company's Exxsol series of differentiated fluids, and its broader portfolio of hydrocarbon fluids. Exxsol fluids are known to meet diverse customer needs in a number of areas such as polymer processing, industrial cleaning, adhesives, coatings amongst others. ExxonMobil Chemical's Exxsol hydrocarbon fluids and de-aromatized fluids portfolios to be compliant with stringent regulations and environmental requirements. The Exxsol D range of products delivers low odor, less toxicity and is not come across as dangerous for the environment under EU regulations.
