Medisize, a European manufacturer of medical & diagnostic devices and pharma- packaging, has announced to set up additional capacity at its Kontiolahti (Finland) plant for production of components used in Sanofi-aventis insulin injection pens. Sanofi-aventis insulin injection pens offer diabetes patients a convenient way to manage their condition. Finland-headquartered Medisize has been involved in the pen components production line for Sanofi-aventis and worked in very close cooperation with the customer for manufacturing, tooling design, moulding and automatic assembly. The capacity addition project underlines the long-term partnership between Medisize and Sanofi-aventis.
