Saudi Arabia's petrochemical giant, SABIC has awarded a program management service contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of its new petrochemical complex in Yanbu Industrial City to Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. The new complex will have a production capacity of 3.8 million mta of Ethylene, Ethylene Glycol, Polyethylene and Polypropylene.
SABIC is currently the world's second largest producer of Ethylene Glycol. The company is also the third largest in Polyethylene production, and the sixth largest in Polypropylene.
