GAIL planning petrochemical plant in Kerala at an outlay of Rs 7,0000 mln

GAIL (India) Ltd plans to build a Petrochemical plant unit in Kerala at an estimated outlay of Rs 7,0000 mln, at Kochi, Kerala. To be a sole proprietorship of GAIL over a span of 7 yeras, the development of this project will be determined entirely by the obtainability of LNG. The Kochi plant will be an ethane-propane (C2-C3) based petrochemical complex which will produce 600,000 tpa of ethylene and 100,000 tpa of propylene.
