Plastindia Foundation supports the cause of the plastic industry and actively addresses issues of plastics & environment as a responsible industrial sector of the economy and is involved in projects and programs globally. One of the major initiatives it has now undertaken, concurrent with PLASTINDIA International Exhibition in February 2009 is organizing a Global Plastic Recycling Contest. This contest has no entry fee & is open to all citizens of the world. By this, Plastindia will recognize the individuals, enterprises and institutions, who enter a product or an idea on recycled plastic. It will give an opportunity for use one's ingenuity and creativity in use of recycled plastic materials, reuse of plastic products in a different application or innovative technologies for plastic recycling. This contest should help citizens to think about the huge spectrum of products made using recycled plastics and create more awareness about the huge possibilities of plastics recycling or reuse, which will help the society conserve resources and the industry to serve wider markets.
We request you to kindly disseminate this information amongst your colleagues, friends in the industry, local institutions, schools etc., so that this contest receives maximum entries from all sections of society. We will be glad to receive any feedback from your end.
