Gloucester Engineering, a leading extrusion technology provider, recently announced receiving an order from Spain's Grupo Armando Alvarez for their 3rd 3000mm, 5-Layer Cast Stretch Film Line for its Silvalac division. Grupo Armando Alvarez is Spain's largest polyethylene plastic converter with a production capacity of well over 270,000 tons. As per the company release, the new cast stretch film line is set to be delivered by 2009 end. Silvalac chose this line due to Gloucester Engineering's past performance, experience and sophisticated extrusion, casting, winding and control technology.
