Apollo Management LP, the parent company of Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc. has contributed US$540 mln in capital to help complete the takeover of Huntsman Corp. Hexion's attempt to cancel the US$6.5 bln Huntsman merger has been recently been thwarted when a Delaware judge ordered it to honor the buyout agreement, failing which Huntsman would seek at least US$3 bln in damages.
