Huntsman Corporation has restarted its major Propylene Oxide/MTBE manufacturing facility in Port Neches, Texas, which had been idled as a precautionary measure, before Hurricane Rita. No major structural damage was sustained by the facility, though it required some repair. Restart was also hindered by a lack of electrical power.
