Sohar Refinery and Oman Polypropylene projects will be official inaugurated this week.
Sohar Refinery is a key project by the Omani government, aimed at diversifying the income sources of the Omani economy. The daily productivity of Sohar Refinery amounts to 765 tonnes of liquefied gas, 1,196 tons of polypropylene, 1,427 tons of naphtha, 3,739 tons of regular gasoline, 1,552 tons of super gasoline, 1,142 tons of planes' fuel and 151 tons of sulphur.
Investment outlay for Oman Polypropylene project is pegged at US$313 mln, with an annual productivity of 340 tons of polypropylene.
