Innovene and Huntsman award £100 mln contracts to AMEC

AMEC, the international project management and services company has been awarded long-term asset support contracts totaling £100 million, by Innovene and Huntsman Petrochemicals. Innovene, one of the world's five largest chemical companies, has awarded AMEC a 5 year management contract to undertake all cycle-ending plant overhauls at its Grangemouth facility in Scotland. Work begins immediately and involves planning, preparation, supply chain management and project implementation of the overhauls across the entire complex. Huntsman Chemicals, Teesside, has awarded AMEC a 4 year contract to undertake overhauls of its Aromatics, Ethylene, Polyurethane and Paraxylene plants. AMEC will plan, prepare, manage the supply chain and manage the implementation.
