The Singapore arm of Itochu Petroleum, being the highest of 4 bidders, has procured 170,000 barrels of open-spec naphtha from state-owned Bangladesh Petroleum Corp (BPC). Deal was struck at US$68.22/barrel, to be loaded from Chittagong from Sept. 16 to 19, on a free-on-board basis. A deal for comparable quantities was struck between the same parties at US$66.56/barrel in July.
