Japan's Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. plans to construct a new polypropylene composite plant in China for its subsidiary-Beijing Ju-Ling-Yan Plastic Co., to supply to automakers in the southern part of the country.
The plant will be built in Foshan, Guangdong Province, with an investment of about 600 million yen, scheduled to be launched in April 2008. The plant will have an initial annual production capacity of 10,000 tons, to be doubled in two years.
