Japanese refiner Tonen Chemical Corp. has begun scheduled maintenance for the 478,000 tpa naphtha cracker at it's sole cracker in Kawasaki. The maintenance commenced on 18 of this month and is scheduled to last until Sept. 23. Tonen Chemical is a petrochemical arm of Tonen General Sekiyu K.K. (Exxon Mobil's Japan unit).
