Nova Innovene, the new 50:50 European styrenic polymers joint venture between Canada's Nova Chemicals and BP spin-off Innovene, began operations on Saturday. Nova Innovene has plants in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK. Nova has also announced a joint venture covering part of its EPS range in Mexico with local player Grupo Idesa, under the Novidesa name.
