Oil prices climb in Asia

Oil prices were firmer in Asian trade despite a larger-than-expected gain in US energy inventories last week. Light sweet crude for June delivery was up 14 cents at US$62.69 a barrel after falling 62 cents at US$62.55. Brent crude for July was up 31 cents at US$68.28.
