Oil prices were steady in Asian trading on Thursday after U.S. gasoline stocks raised nearly twice as much as expected last week. Light sweet crude for July delivery gained 7 cents to US$ 65.84 a barrel. The contract rose 26 cents to settle at US$ 65.77 a barrel. Brent crude for July added 16 cents to US$70.76 a barrel.
