PolyOne Corporation forms Japanese entity

In a move that will expand its presence in Japan, PolyOne Corporation has formed a Japanese entity. PolyOne Japan Kabushiki Kaisha (PolyOne Japan Ltd.) has been formed by the premier provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions. The new company, which has established an office in Tokyo will focus on gaining specification with Japanese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the import of products for use by Japanese polymer processors. Significant opportunities to leverage the company's diversified portfolio of products, services and solutions exist in Japan. The company is well positioned to serve the needs of the key industries in the country, including electronics, automotive, packaging, and bio-related materials.
