RIL, which already has presence in Malaysia through Recron Malaysia, is keen to invest in the petrochemical and other sectors in which Malaysia has expertise.
Recron Malaysia is the world’s largest integrated polyester and textile company producing world-class quality of polymers, PET resins, fibres, yarns and fabrics. RIL has invested around US$400 mln in acquiring the manufacturing assets in Nilai and Melaka.
