Haci Omer Sabanci Holding A.S. (Sabanci Holding) has acquired E.I. DuPont's 50% shareholding in DuPont Sabanci Polyester Europe B.V., (DuPontSA), becoming the sole owner of the business. Dupont SA has a manufacturing capacity of over 1.3 million tpa of PTA, DMT, Polyester Filaments, Polyester Staple, PET Resin and Preform.
DuPontSA has annual revenues of more than US$ 1 billion and is a leading integrated producer of polyester fibers, resins and intermediates in Greater Europe. The production sites are located in Wilton (U.K.), Uentrop (Germany), Adana, Kurtkoy and Inegol (Turkey). DuPontSA also has state-of-the-art research and development facilities in Adana (Turkey) and marketing offices in Paris (France), Barcelona (Spain) and Milan (Italy).
