Sanyo Petrochemical Co., a unit of Asahi Kasei Corp. plans to restart its 450,000 tpa naphtha cracker after a two week delay on May 5. The delay was a result of the discovery of an ethylene leak in late April following a month-long maintenance shutdown
As the restart has been anticipated, it will have minimal impact on naphtha prices
