PTT Chemical PCL (PTTCH), Thailand's largest olefins maker, plans to spend 1.3 billion baht (US$34 million) on expansion plans. The investment plan included 600 million baht to boost high-density polyethylene (HDPE) capacity by 50,000 tpa to 300,000 tons from Q1-2009.
