Tosoh plans naphtha cracker maintenance next year

Japanese petrochemicals maker Tosoh Corp. plans to shut its 493,000 tpa naphtha cracker at Yokkaichi in Mie prefecture. This shutdown is planned for about 40 days between early March and mid-April for scheduled maintenance. Yokkaichi is Tosoh's only ethylene plant. Tosoh's most recent scheduled maintenance for the Yokkaichi naphtha cracker was from May 24 to April 16 this year.
