Braskem SA has successfully restarted its two ethylene units located at the company's petrochemical site in Camacari. The plants had been offline since February 4 because of an unexpected power outage that led to halting of normal activities of many of the most important chemical producers in the country - Braskem, BASF SE, Unigel,Dow Chemical, Elekeiroz, Oxiteno and Brazil's state-owned petroleum company Petrobras.
