Bangladesh Government has decided to set up petrochemical complex at Ashuganj. The complex will separate ethane and propane from natural gas to produce ethylene and propylene.
A committee of senior officials has been constituted for providing recommendations on the petrochemical complex. On submission of report by the committee, the energy division will discuss various options with experts for setting up a complex.
