Bayer Material Science is raising the sales prices for Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa by EUR 0.30 per kilogram. The increase in raw materials and energy cost of the past few months had been absorbed by Bayer so far. To ensure the rapid growth of this specialty market, continuous investment in research and development, production plants and customer support is necessary. With this price increase and future pricing, Bayer Material Science wants to safeguard its ability to provide sufficient resources for the TPU resins business and its customers.
