An ethyl benzene unit has come on stream at the Pars Petrochemical Complex, Assaluyeh. When operations commence in a month's time, the plant will have a capacity to produce 645,000 tons of ethyl benzene for the styrene monomer unit of the complex.
Work at the Pars Petrochemical Complex began 6 years ago in the Pars Special Energy Zone (PSEZ) set up to produce ethane, styrene monomer and polystyrene.
