ExxonMobil Chemical has announced the successful completion of the expansion of its steam cracker in Singapore, increasing ethylene capacity by 75,000 tpa to more than 900,000 tpa. The expansion project of the world-scale Singapore Chemical Plant was announced in 2005 and has been completed at a time of continued growing demand for petrochemical products in the region.
